Fabric Freshener

Long lasting fabric freshener sprays for clothes, sofas and linens, made to keep fabrics smelling clean for longer.

Fabric holds onto smells more than most surfaces, especially sofas, curtains and clothes that get worn or sat on often. Our fabric freshener sprays are made to lift that smell and leave a clean, long lasting scent behind, rather than just masking it for a few minutes.

Most of our fabric fresheners come in generous 450ml bottles from Lattafa, so a single spray covers plenty of ground on sofas, cushions and wardrobes.

Why A Fabric Freshener Spray Helps

  1. Targets smell at the source. Sprayed directly onto fabric, it works on the material itself rather than just the surrounding air.
  2. Lasts longer than air. Scent held in fabric fibres tends to stay noticeable for longer than a room spray alone.
  3. Useful between washes. Great for clothes, cushions or curtains that do not need a full wash yet but need refreshing.
  4. Large bottle sizes. Our 450ml sprays mean fewer refills and better value per use.
  5. Familiar Arabic fragrance notes. Many of our fabric fresheners share scent profiles with our perfumes, so your home and wardrobe can feel consistent.

Where To Use Fabric Freshener

  • Sofas and cushions, especially in living rooms that see regular use
  • Curtains and bedding, to keep bedrooms feeling fresh between washes
  • Wardrobes and coats, particularly for items that cannot be washed often
  • Car seats and interiors, for a scent that lasts longer than a quick air spray
  • Carpets and rugs, to freshen high traffic areas between deep cleans

How To Use Fabric Freshener Properly

  1. Hold the bottle around 20 to 30cm away from the fabric.
  2. Spray in a light, even sweep rather than soaking one spot.
  3. Test on a small hidden area first if the fabric is delicate or light coloured.
  4. Allow the fabric to air dry fully before sitting on it or folding it away.
  5. Reapply every few days, or whenever the scent starts to fade.

If you mainly want to freshen a room quickly rather than fabric itself, our Air Freshener collection is the better starting point.

Is fabric freshener safe to use on clothes?

Yes, but it is best to do a small patch test on delicate or light coloured fabrics first, since some materials react differently to fragrance sprays.

Can I use fabric freshener on sofas and cushions?

Yes. Sofas and cushions are one of the most common uses, since fabric tends to hold onto everyday smells like cooking or pets.

Will fabric freshener leave a stain?

Most sprays are designed not to stain, but testing on a hidden area first is always the safest approach, especially with light or delicate fabrics.

Do I need to let the fabric dry before using it?

Yes, it is best to let the fabric air dry fully before sitting on it, wearing it or folding it away.

How is fabric freshener different from air freshener?

Fabric freshener is designed to be sprayed directly onto fabric and works from within the fibres, while air freshener is sprayed into open air and fades faster.
